  • This past August 2, 2008, Senator Pamela Roach & Rotary of Q. C. Valencia donated/supplied goods to the people of Pilar.
  • This coming September 2007, MM2P and PITAHC will be providing final training and certificaton for graduating participants for their sufficiency in the community.
  • Medical Missions To Pilar provided two days dentures, feeding, and medication to the residence of Pilar and served 625 persons on April 28, 2007, and 500 persons on April 29, 2007
  • Kobayashi Dental Clinic and Lab volunteered four dentists for the medical mission headed by Dr. Mark Kobayashi.
  • Rotary Balintawak donated and delivered medicines on April 28 - 29, 2007 to MM2P.
  • Rotary Valencia of Quezon city through its officers Charlie U. Buenavista President and Secretary Eleuterio Ledesma and Wilfredo G. Garcia Immediate past President donated medicine and paint.
  • Congressman Sonny Escudero donated payments for prescribed medicines to Hundreds of Beneficiaries.
  • National Association of Filipino Dentist in America thru President Dra. Marian Afurong, Dr. Lizan and Dra. Barcena provided daily allowance for 20 Dentists.
  • Governor Hill Devina Gracia of District 378 Rotary Int’l., Erick Illesca's Rotary Club of Midtown Diliman District 3780, and Atty. Rodel Batocabe of Valencia Rotary have donated medicines to MM2P
  • Medical team is headed by Chairman of the Board Dra. Expedita Castro and Dra.Ludovice.
  • Medical Missions To Pilaron April 28 to 29, National Association of Filipino Dentist in America (NAFDA) U.S.A. and Philippine Dentist will construct 24 hour Dentures for indigent patient and six month feeding program for children ages from 2 to 8 years old of six barangays of Pilar administered by nurses of MM2P and health professionals.
  • Department of Health (DOH), & Philippine Institute of Traditional and Alternative Health Care will provide two (2) days training certification seminars for medical herbal medicines; acupuncture, acupressure for local community participants and health professionals.Livelihood program will also be implemented to plant ten (10) varieties of seedlings normally found in the Philippines & utilize as medical herbs. Participants will also be taught on how to make cooking oil, aromatic oil, virgin coconut oil, candle soap and etc.

 T  he Municipality of Pilar is located at the northwestern part of the Province of Sorsogon in the Philippines. Pilar with its population of 65,000 has no hospital.  Most people die before they get to the nearest hospital, which is 1 hour away and with a very limited transportation availability.

Mayon has the classic conical shape of a volcano which rises to 2462m above the Albay Gulf. The structurally simple volcano has steep upper slopes averaging 35-40 degrees that are capped by a small summit crater. It is the most active volcano in the Philippines. Since 1616, Mayon has erupted 47 times.Mayon's most violent eruption, in 1814, killed more than 1200 people and devastated several towns.
